Bay window extension design project

 

Here at Collingtons, we love the opportunity to work with a customer and help design their dream project. There can be so much involved with planning and designing an extension that sometimes a little help from an experienced design team can go a long way. This recent Bay Window Extension in Cornwall, saw us planning and designing a window sill extension, one that would create a large bay seat for the owners to enjoy.

Various discussions were had around the types of doors and windows to ensure that the design would perfectly suit the customers desired look and objectives.

It was decided that to finish off the stunning bay window, a large uPVC sliding patio door was to be installed, complete with one slider and two large side windows. 

The fitting team also created a ledge outside of the property which was built with timber. This was built up around the other aspects of the design to create the new bay window space. The new large windows and large sliding patio doors looked fantastic and allowed the owners to take full advantage of the stunning views.
