With an antiviral coating that has been clinically proven to prevent germ growth by up to 99%, we’re delighted to introduce the new and innovative antiviral door handles from Apeer. Confirmed in independent laboratories, the handles have a high level of hygienic safety due to their antimicrobial surface. How does it work?

With silver ions embedded in the silver external handle coating, the growth of germs is prevented as the silver ions destroy the cell membrane and block cell respiration and cell ingestion. When cell division stops, the germ dies. Having carried out many independent tests, Apeer have confirmed that the ion coating reduces the growth of germs by more than 99%, even with regular cleaning and requiring no maintenance!
